"Olumo" is an old dream that reflects my passion for the African culture in Brazil and Latin America. Having grown up exposed to this fascinating culture, I have had the chance to fall in love and be part of it.
The Orishas  (Deities in the Yoruba mythology), have been a very important part of my life. I recreate stories in my lyrics inspired by this wonderful world of the Yoruba mythology, my own experiences with the Afro-Brazilian culture and my life experiences in Brazil and London.
I dedicate all my work to them..

Now, I feel extremely lucky to be able to perform and to begin recording this music alongside a wonderful group of musicians and friends.

Olumo Rock, in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria, provided a dwelling place as well as a hideout for the Egba people during inter-tribal wars in the 19th century. It serves not only as a monument of faith in unity, but also as a source of empowerment and protection.

'A cultural image of solidarity, strength and reliability.’
